Lake Mavora to Te Anau

Even with company, I still take an age to pack up camp.

Helmet just pisses without a care in the world nor with warning. Stop for two seconds, turn your back for a second, bang, pissing away. 

Another cyclist catches us up, turns out he is also from Germany. We all ride as a pack long gravel roads that seem to become more gravel than road. We total up 43km of crappy, loose gravel roads that day. The state highway appearing as a welcome relief when it appears. Its a dull highway. 

Turn up to Te Anau devoid of energy and social motivation. Just needed to shovel food of any form into my face. 

Enquired about the Kepler Track and decide to start it tomorrow. As trying to raise money for Kids Restore the Kepler, it seems rude not to do the walk.
